reintroduce.

so here's a little bit about the second show i took a part of at the fuel collection (http://www.fuelcollection.com), "the collection - reintroduce", in november of 2006. this show was a bit smaller in caliber but a great experience nonetheless. i had nine pieces in this show and they had a more cultural theme. my work is on the portable wall on the first floor of the gallery. check them out on my website (http://www.brianhchen.com)!

mayday!

i did an album cover awhile ago for the band reserved 16 (http://www.purevolume.com/reserved16 and http://www.myspace.com/reserved16). the cd, called the mayday ep, is actually pretty awesome. the cd has been out for awhile and you can check it out on itunes. the music has a great rich, earthy tone and the melodies are really quite intricate.

i had a lot of fun doing this one.

welcome.

so here goes. i'll try to keep this site updated with art relevant news and topics. i suppose i can start by recapping the show at the fuel collection (http://www.fuelcollection.com), in philadelphia, pa. i showed in the grand opening show entitled "introduce yourself" from may - july 2006. the experience was awesome. not only was the grand opening of the show very well attended but the venue was beautiful and much more than i could have ever asked for. i met some really great up and coming artists there.

my work is on the second floor on the wall on the right:
